DYK Blurb
[edit]If you are wanting to go to WP:DYK with this article i would recommend a hook along the lines of: Severe Tropical Cyclone's Ron and Susan were both the most intense Southern Hemisphere cyclones since Cyclone Hina (1985) before being surpassed by Cyclones Gafilo and Zoe during 2002.Jason Rees (talk) 12:17, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
Er sorta scrap the last thought and just go with the most intense SPAC TC's as Orson and an SWIO surpases Ron/Susan.Jason Rees (talk) 12:23, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
- No, they are stronger than Hina and Orson (the latter has stronger winds, but higher central pressure)... But Tropical Cyclone Chris-Damia surpasses them all.ABC paulista (talk) 21:02, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah i realized that just after i posted which is why i reposted and advised you to go with: Severe Tropical Cyclone's Ron and Susan were both the most intense South Pacific tropical cyclones since Severe Tropical Cyclone Hina (1985), before they were surpassed by Severe Tropical Cyclone Zoe during 2002.Jason Rees (talk) 23:35, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
Article's importance
[edit]I wanna understand why this article has been rated as Low-importance on the project. Ron caused catastrophic damage on Tonga, almost devastating it. Furthermore, Ron was the most intense S. Pacific TC until Zoe. So, I would rate the article as Mid-importance, at least.ABC paulista (talk) 19:17, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
