New Source[edit]

This is a new source of a lot of biographical info... http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/06/magazine/06murdock-t.html?pagewanted=1&_r=2 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.235.185.181 (talk) 01:43, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

He joined the service then he became CEO? what happened in between? --Kraftlos (talk) 22:38, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

COI notice[edit]

In this edit with the summary "Improved layout" the COI tasg was removed from the article. Does anyone have a view on whether the tag remains justified? In any case when removing such tags, the edit summary should so indicate, and discussion on the talk page is often a very good idea. DES (talk) 17:05, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Genealogical Chart[edit]

Really? does it serve any purpose other than, perhaps, inviting possible claimants to his fortune to get through the door? there is no one of note and the chart itself does not go very far. Is keeping this chart in going to set a precedent for other entries - is it Wikipedia's intention to be not just an encyclopedia but also a haven for genealogical research?```` — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.147.111.85 (talk) 16:49, 19 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Concur, I've removed it. Lankiveil (speak to me) 12:59, 5 March 2015 (UTC).[reply]
