Hello fellow Wikipedians,

Do Not Remove Infrastructure Information.

[edit]
I am starting this discussion because earlier today I provided the information to this Wikipedia article about infrastructure, called Transportation. This section exists on many populated place articles. I decided to add the information. In Correct (talk) 04:59, 24 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately this information was removed. The editor went to great lengths to remove EVERY information that I added, according to the history, it said "reverted 22 edits.". The person decided to leave a message onto my talk page stating that if I could find a source about the information, then I can add the information again. I decided to do so by undoing the revert. I did not know which revert to undo, so I reverted every edit (similar to how every of my edits was undone.) As absolutely none of the information that I wrote was promotional material. In Correct (talk) 04:59, 24 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The promotional material had already existed. I did not add the information. The article's history can prove both of this. What I did was add links to Turner Falls which was removed. I believe that this should be added to a "See Also Section." But this "Attractions" section already existed AND STILL EXISTS. I am trying to contribute to the article and I am wrongfully accused of adding promotional information. I wish to do the proofreading myself and remove the actual promotional material. The "transportation" section is NOT promotional and exists on many other populated place articles. If this information is not needed, then I will remove the information that other people added on the other populated place articles.

I Read Your Essay On Style

[edit]

Here, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Cities/US_Guideline#Infrastructure It says:

The purpose is to describe the settlement as a geographic entity and space. Describe how the settlement exists in the larger region (for example, port on a river, harbor on a sea, agricultural community in the prairies, village in the mountains, suburb of city). The settlement as a geographic space is illustrated best with a map but can be explained by detailing the layout of the transportation infrastructure, neighborhoods, types of residential areas in relation to commercial or industrial spaces, etc.

AND

===Transportation=== Include:

  1. Highways (federal and state), street layout (if notable)

The information is notable.
