Removed "unsourced" tags
[edit]I have now updated this article and removed the "unreferenced" tag because now the references have been made explicit. I hope this answers the problems that Anthony cfc apparently saw with this article when it was tagged on 27 December 2006. Since I had originally written the article, I felt it was my responsibility to add what was felt to be lacking.
I was constrained to delete one sentence added by someone else, this one:
- "In fact, in modelling his pamphlet on the Philippic form, Milton finds a classical antecedent for his method in Cicero's personal attacks on Mark Antony."
It may be right (and it sounds convincing to me), or it may not be, but I am not aware of what source the statement is based upon. Perhaps Wikeawade, who added this in the revision of 10:34 on 18 April 2006, or someone else can source it and re-add it to the article.--MollyTheCat 22:27, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
