I created this article because I believe Dexter Palmer's novels are notable for bringing a character-driven, literary sensibility to genres (steam-punk and time travel) which, as a general rule, tend to focus more on narrative, imaginary technologies, and world-building. He has published two novels which were widely reviewed by prestigious publications. Version Control was published by Pantheon, a major press, and was included in several "Best of 2016" lists by periodicals with large circulations. Hence both the internal qualities of his books and their external reception make them notable.
I will edit the article to reflect these assertions.
