This article has been edited recently and vandalized by a user installing:

(a) unverified information, and (b) opinionated information about the personal inclinations of band members

April Fool's pranks aside, Wikipedia is very specific about keeping unverified information and opinions out of articles. I am tempted to simply undo these recent edits, but I will try my best to edit through them so as not to lose some information that seems to be valuable (if re-formatted).

This is not personal. Wikipedia has clear standards that all articles should follow to maintain credibility.

I have personally contacted a former band member who called some of the edits (quote) "crap!" I do not, however, wish to bother them further with minute details about this article. These issues should be handled by wikipedia editors. Subjects of the article should not have to police this page themselves.

Personally, I would like to see a large overhaul of this article. After so many various edits the history page has become a little chaotic and hard to follow.

Please be respectful of the integrity of this article and do not use it for personal grudges or pranks.

Name Pronunciation/Origin

[edit]

Different Jazz? I thought it was pronounced - and was from - diffuse. So there you are. Queensbury Circle. Plutonium27 (talk) 22:18, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I remember it being a play on Different Jazz but then again it was a long time ago, might have been Difuse! Streatfield Road.

I had the same question about pronunciation. I'd normally pronounce the second word as "Jews", but that sounds like an imputation of anti-semitisim that might be undeserved. It would be good to give a bit in parenthesis about that, and the origin if it could be found. George Dance (talk) 15:30, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, I never knew that. That's awesome. So I guess the "J" isn't a "hard j" sound then? NarooN (talk) 07:46, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
