obvious character reference in Mary Shelley's Frankenhole
[edit]someone keeps taking out my edits referring to this obvious media reference. Any thoughts on how glaringly obvious this reference is, and it's deserving mention on this page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.103.100.73 (talk) 01:14, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
- "obviously inspired by" is original research and not allowed. You need to find a third party source that makes that analysis/claim. Active Banana (talk) 01:25, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
Depicted as Jewish Character?
[edit]I would be interested to see more discussion of the character's Jewish nature, given he wears a skull cap. Given the film was released in 1935, is set in Bavaria, portrays Jews in a negative light and depicts Frankenstein (with a hairstle reminiscent of Hitler) trying to create a master race, this would make a fascinating topic for someone's postgraduate thesis! 211.26.1.46 11:21, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
potential expansion
[edit]The section on his appearances in later works could usefully be expanded. It would give some needed balance to the article, and clarify what is already clear to most of us, that this is an appropriate stand alone article--as the best solution for charaaters who appear in multiple works, and can therefore be properly merged. 23:24, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
