Council or assembly member?
[edit]Unless something has happened in the last few days, it's my understanding that Dragan Jovanović is a member of the Topola municipal council -- not the municipal assembly.
Jovanović joined the Topola council in April 2021 when Better Serbia joined/overturned/whatever the local government. His appointment is officially listed here. I've checked the official gazettes, and I haven't found any sign that his position has changed since then. This article, from two weeks ago, indicates that he is still a council member.
The municipal website still lists him as a member of the assembly ... but it also lists Igor Petrović (the current mayor) as both a member of the assembly and a member of the Progressive Party caucus. Both of these things are obviously wrong. My guess is that the "list of members" is simply a list of the members elected at the start of the current term that has not been updated.
Again, it's not impossible that something may have changed recently ... but unless there's evidence that he has changed roles, I believe we should continue to list him as a council member. CJCurrie (talk) 05:30, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
