perhaps this page should be retitled "DragonQuest(roleplaying game)", to avoid confusion with the novel? Kouban 16:01, 23 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I added another ad-hoc disamibguation to the article about the novel. I think a disambiguation page is in order, because a novel, a role-playing game, and a video game all share the same title. If I get enough time, I'll attempt to create it after I finish copy-editing the rest of this article. /* Pradeep Arya 04:48, 1 January 2006 (UTC) */[reply]

What are the people's names in the list? Are they authors of the articles? Suggest rephrasing those lines as "By Jane Doe" or "Authors: Jane Doe and Jim No" for clarity.Igiffin 01:54, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I placed them in a References section. I assumed they were contributors to the DragonQuest groups on Yahoo! and helped to construct the list of DragonQuest Related Publications. These groups are Members Only, and so I was not able to verify this personally. Correction (if needed), is welcome. /* Pradeep Arya 04:33, 1 January 2006 (UTC) */[reply]
As one of the people listed I can tell you that the people were the compilers of the DragonQuest Canonical List which this information is copied from. Most have been active members of the DragonQuest Lists on Yahoo and before (the history of which almost needs its own article). I will review the material here at some point. --Jfrauchert 15:28, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I researched the publisher of Fantasy Gamer Magazine on Google and eBay. I discovered it was published by Steve Jackson Games in Oct/Nov 1983, not Oct/Nov 1988 as in the original text. The change is intentional, not a copy-edit mistake. /* Pradeep Arya 12:58, 1 January 2006 (UTC) */[reply]

I gave this page a complete copy-edit. There may be a few rough corners, but nothing DragonQuest enthusiasts can't handle on their own. There are some pieces of missing information that I am not familiar enough with DragonQuest to supply. This will have to be handled by the DragonQuest enthusiasts on their own. It is my opinion that the page is no longer in desperate need of copy-editing, but merely copy. I removed the copyedit tag. If you disagree, feel free to put it back. "This house, is clear." /* Pradeep Arya 14:03, 1 January 2006 (UTC) */[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Dragonquest001.jpg

[edit]

Image:Dragonquest001.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
