Boundaries[edit]

The Boundaries section should either have some content added or be cut.--Kudpung (talk) 19:32, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Empty sections[edit]

There is a MOS policy about empty sections - there's even a tag for them. They don't look nice, and they could remain empty for a very long time. A couple of years ago, I created a lot of wine articles. I made a template , including infoboxes, headings, sub sections, cats, etc etc. But I kept it in my sandbox and didn't post a new article until the template was fully populated. Maybe the people at the constituencies project could do a rethink on this one.--Kudpung (talk) 15:37, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, blank sections do look untidy, but there must be 1000+ constituency articles, all with the same format. It is to be hoped the sections will all be filled in in due course. For the moment, please be patient. Peterkingiron (talk) 16:46, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pre-1974 boundaries[edit]

I suspect that this article and also that on Stourbridge (UK Parliament constituency) are misleading. I believe that Stourbridge was part of the pre-1974 Dudley constituency. The 1974 reorganisation involved a reorganisation of all the constituencies in Dudley Metropolitan Borough, so that the constituency boundaries excluded those parts of Brierley Hill (UK Parliament constituency) that reamined in Staffordshire. This involved splitting the old Dudley constituency and combining Stourbridge with Halesowen. Peterkingiron (talk) 09:25, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
