Athletic Park
[edit]I came across a single source saying the ballpark was named Athletic Park before being renamed for Mayor Dudley.[1] I don't think it's enough to add that to the article, but I thought I'd leave it here for anyone who'd like to look into more deeply.

THEN CAME DUDLEY FIELD in 1925. It was originally called Athletic Park but was changed to honor R.M. Dudley, one of El Paso's most popular mayors. Unfortunately, he died while in office in 1926.
