strange opinion about usage?

[edit]

I question this phrase in the article: "In classical music, the term is most often used for a composition for two singers or pianists." I don't think reality supports this; it seems like an unsourced opinion. The term is used for a composition for any two performers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.225.40.204 (talk) 05:23, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This page belongs at Duet. Hyacinth (talk) 03:39, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Perhaps it could be expanded into an article detailing different types of duet, so this bit became "Duets in music". That should help with its stub status. --Muna (talk) 17:33, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
