Don't understand
[edit]"is a door divided horizontally in such a fashion that the bottom half may remain shut while the top half opens.... Later modifications included doors where both halves can be closed or opened together." Does this mean that the earlier doors couldn't be fully opened (or fully shut)? - Nah, info needs to be rewritten: either upper and lower door open(ed) and close(d) together or just the upper door opens(opened) and closes(closed). --VanBurenen (talk) 11:25, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
painter of "young woman at a half open door"
[edit]The painter of "young woman at half open door" is stated as "Samuel van Hoogstraten" in this wiki article, but I'm not sure this is the consensus. It is signed with Rembrandt's name, but apparently it is not certain who is the painter.
