Find correct name
The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).
@RaquelStory:@Psicopatria: What does the name mean? "Efacec emerged... from the union of the belgian group ACEC (Ateliers de Construtions Électriques de Charleroi) and CUF (Companhia União Fabril)..." - but this does not explain whether the new name is still an acronym, and if so, what it means. --KnightMove (talk) 04:56, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@KnightMove: I couldn't find a reliable quote for the exact meaning of the acronym. Speculating on the meaning, it seems to be a mix of "ACEC" with the "EF" prefix. Note that "EF" (meaning "Empresa Fabril", manufacturing company) was a common name/acronym of Portuguese industrial companies in the 20th century. Psicopatria (talk) 09:48, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
