Updated Demographics

[edit]

Hey y'all, I updated the demographics to a...relatively newer census. In four years, I may do it again! Adam (talk) 18:56, 31 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Scots-Irish

[edit]

The article makes no mention of who settled Edgefield - people from the borderlands areas of Ireland and Scotland. A region rife with violence and war for over a thousand years. See Albion's Seed. -- GreenC 23:10, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dorn

[edit]

There is not a single mention of a Dorn in either the history of Edgefield or the notable people. My suggestion would be that the topic be researched more. I am a Dorn, and my family owned almost the entire Sumter National Forest, much of which lies in Edgefield and present day Saluda Counties. There was even a town called Dorns Mills here. More research please. 67.238.179.134 (talk) 15:10, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
