Thank you for taking the time to write and edit this article. It was a wonderful surprise to see this page appear in a search I made today. I learned about my great-grandfather from my mother and her side of the family. I thought that I'd done substantial research, but it was exciting to see several references to books that were unknown to me. You've helped me to learn more about Sir Edward.

Its nice to know that someone related to the subject matter appreciates the work put in to make it interesting. I have been fascinated by Edward MacColl since I found out about the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board, and thought he needed his own article.
