Request edit on original name of Booz Allen Hamilton
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
I work for Booz Allen's Marketing and Communications team. I noticed a factual error on the page that should be corrected. This article incorrectly cites Edwin G. Booz Surveys as the company's founding name in 1914, but that name wasn't in use until 1924. The founding name in 1914 was actually the Business Research Service. If you approve the edit, the first sentence under Biography/Career should read: After his graduation Booz went into business for himself to perform studies and analyses of businesses. He founded The Business Research Service in 1914,[1] Kemples (talk) 22:03, 14 September 2018 (UTC)

- @Spintendo: Thank you for making the edit. I also noticed you edited the story. I think you did a good job of tightening it. There were also some opinions about him (e.g. "Perhaps as a result of such bluntness, Booz gradually withdrew from the firm's work") which actually contradict the company's historical understanding about him and his contributions. Thanks again for being an eagle eye. Kemples (talk) 12:37, 15 September 2018 (UTC)
