Tons of OR
[edit]The Zionism section contains a mini-essay (starting from the second paragraph) about the British Empire and its relations with Muslims. It may be a good essay or it may not, but it is absolutely OR, with no citations or references.
I am going to delete it. If someone can take it upon himself to rewrite it in a proper encyclopedic style, "ahlan va-sahlan"! Bazuz (talk) 11:30, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
Photo
[edit]Who is the person standing on the right of the photo? Is it Walter Runciman or Reginald McKenna? They were facially similar so I am unwilling to hazard a guess.Paulturtle (talk) 01:43, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
Montagu or Montague?
[edit]I am confused. Have searched through numerous books and scholarly articles, and while some (probably most) spell it Montagu, many others still spell it Montague. Is Montagu definitely right and Montague definitely wrong? Thanks for the clarification! 94.34.191.109 (talk) 22:40, 29 September 2016 (UTC)R.E.D.
- Hansard spells it "Montagu", which is pretty official. I also looked at several items of official correspondence from the UK archives and saw only "Montagu". ODNB also has "Montagu". So I think our article is correct. Zerotalk 00:23, 30 September 2016 (UTC)
