What is the correct pronunciation?--79.66.196.120 (talk) 18:44, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

El-a-zi. Soft "g" is not pronounced, "i" is w/o dot, a vowel that does not exist in regular Latin alphabet, sounds like u in Cyprus. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.241.153.82 (talk) 07:19, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Alternative names

[edit]

This article is related with a province (Elâzığ Province) not with a city (Elâzığ). So we mustn't add alternative names of the city of Elâzığ. We can add alternative names of the province of Elâzığ with reliable sources. Takabeg (talk) 06:45, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request

[edit]

Could someone please correct the official website adress to www.elazig.gov.tr as it is not visible with the common form. This way admins (if they speak Turkish) can also see the copyvio violations (and some falsification) in the history section of Elazığ... --E4024 (talk) 22:30, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
