I've made major edits and additions to this page. Some examples were a bit too specialized to be considered typical environmental indicators considering the field as it has evolved to this point. I also removed a couple of elements that are more to do with Sustainable Development Indicators. I also try to place Environmental Indicators in the context of a logical framework where sustainable development indicators can be seen as a broader category. I've been involved in Canada's State of Environment and Environmental Indicators programs for about 15 years. This isn't perfect by any means and I intend to contribute fixes and improvements. --Dofar (talk) 15:53, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]


As I noted in the talk page for the ecological indicator page I started, my primary interest in indicators surrounds agriculture and agricultural policy in Canada. With any luck, I will be adding to this page again shortly. wagors 05:36, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
