I have removed the proposal for deletion. It is true Eric Syddique's membership of the local council is not notable. His notability stems from his former position as chief executive of a quite significant national organisation, the Electoral Reform Society, and possibly also to his involvement in the governance of some other national bodies such as Chatham House and the Hansard Society. -- Alarics (talk) 22:05, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
