Number of Legs[edit]

The overall definition of a concert tour leg is vague both in dictionaries and in the Template:Infobox concert tour documentation. At this time, I have determined there to be 7 legs with the following rationale:

  1. North America followed by 41 days of rest
  2. South America, North America and Europe with no clear rest period between continents, followed by 52 days of rest
  3. North America followed by 9 days of rest and change of continent
  4. Asia followed by 24 days of rest
  5. Oceana followed by 23 days of rest
  6. North America followed by 25 days of rest
  7. final show in Europe

I feel that this is the best method of determining what is considered a leg of the Evanescence Tour. ~ [ Scott M. Howard ] ~ [ Talk ]:[ Contribs ] ~ 04:47, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

Hello. I think that this article should be renamed to Evanescence World Tour, instead of Evanescence Tour, since this time it visited all of the continents around the world (the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania). H-497 (talk) 17:33, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The title references the album, Evanescence, not the band, Evanescence. Their previous tours, if they had articles, would be titled The Open Door Tour and Fallen Tour. The addition of the word "World" is not used unless the tour itself is frequently referred to as such. In this instance, there is no specific name for the tour, so it defaults to the album name they are promoting (but without any formatting). ~ [ Scott M.
