How to choose reliable sources and make an article more in 'Neutral point of view' style

[edit]

Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie here, on Wikipedia and I've been working on an article about musician Evgeny Khavtan.

My first draft was declined with a feedback that the article looks more like fanzine, than a wikipedia source. And I edited the text, as I figure out what actually made it to look like a fanzine.

And I have one more question about references. For example, I've got a text block about musicians guitar collection inside the article. And all information that could confirm it is located on official musician's website, where he runs his blog about guitars. And also he talked to journalists in some interviews about guitars and amps. So are these sources reliable according to Wikipedia requirements?

And If I can't find another sources, should I remove information about guitar collection off the article?

I will be grateful for any recommendations and tips from Wikipedia editors community on how to improve the article.

Also could you please suggest if there're any options to know in what period of time the article draft will be reviewed?

Thank you in advance, O. WhereMusicLives (talk) 00:05, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
