Question
[edit]Are Allobrogicus and Allobrigicus the same person (one praetor; one consul)?; needs checking --FeanorStar7 11:55, 18 November 2005 (UTC)
Answer - there were 2 Allobrogicus's , that is , The consul in 121 BCE and his son who was , more or less , nothing .
Where is the Latin?
[edit]Besides English, it appears that this article is available in 15 other languages. But Latin is not one of them. That seems very odd.
(Those other languages are: 1. Български, 2. Català, 3. Deutsch, 4. Español, 5. Français, 6. Italiano, 7. Magyar, 8. Nederlands, 9. 日本語, 10. Norsk bokmål, 11. Polski, 12. Português, 13. Русский, 14. Srpskohrvatski / српскохрватски, 15. Українська)

- Someone would have to write the article in Latin—or translate this one into Latin—and Roman gentes don't appear to be a high priority for the editors at Vicipaedia. I don't know how many active editors there are, but there are surely many fewer than on English Wikipedia, and a lot of other topics that might seem more important to make available to Latin readers—perhaps the editors are concerned about the perception that Vicipaedia would focus primarily on Roman history and culture, and thus be irrelevant to anyone besides historians or Latin students. In any case, it's up to editors to write or translate an article—which languages articles on English Wikipedia are available in isn't something that the editors here decide (unless, of course, they're contributors to other language Wikis!).
