  • I have reverted an edit by Vmrothe that introduced lots of unsourced material, several inappropriate in-text external links, and lots of incorrect formatting. Also the article was becoming rather promotional. This really was too much for a cleanup, hence the wholesale reversion.   • The material is surely not unsourced. Can you give me an example of "incorrect formatting", Randykitty? I used examples like the "El Nino" page at Wikipedia to see how to format the text. It is very important to update the article about the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies, because a lot of things changed. Looking forward to your answer! --Vmrothe
  • There are plenty of instances of incorrect formatting, just a few of the most obvious ones: too much empty lines, between sections, use of capitals in section headings, inappropriate in-text external links, etc. You are right that not all you added was unsourced, but much was and none of it was sourced to an independent source. You can use the organization's web page to source information such as who the president is, or when/where it was established. You cannot use if to say things like "their meetings generally attract 7000 people" (which, by the way, is not even true: what is correct would have been "their last meetings have attracted around 7000 people"; up till a few years ago, the figure was below 5000). You should also phrase the text in a more neutral way, because this is an encyclopedia, not a place to promote an organization. I would advice that you look for independent sources (there must be, for example, newspaper articles on the meeting, which may mention number of attendants). I would also expect some other sources, interviews with presidents, etc. You can use the organization's own website as a source, but you should do it sparingly and not for anything that could be construed as controversial/promotional (like numbers of attendants, which organizations may exaggerate). Don't add huge slabs of text in one time, go about it piecemeal so that other editors get a chance to look over your edits.
