Seeking Help in Improving Article
[edit]Hi everyone - trying to understand the editor's guidance regarding the article:
- This article contains wording that promotes the subject in a subjective manner without imparting real information. (February 2018)
- This article is written like a personal reflection or opinion essay that states a Wikipedia editor's personal feelings about a topic. (February 2018)
I admit the article is rather stubby, but thought I wrote it objectively, without hyperbole. The subject matter is rather dry, but it's real information. The last two words of the 3rd line in the 1st paragraph might need a reference, though the sources referenced elsewhere allude to it. Please help improve the article. I read the guidelines on peacock language, and if it's there, my writer's myopia prevents me from seeing it. Please help. Thank you! Ohiohistorygeek (talk) 03:59, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
Striving for Plainer Language
[edit]The article's language was not plain, so I rewrote the first two paragraphs, the last two, and the Infobox with plainer language. Ohiohistorygeek (talk) 03:49, 14 March 2018 (UTC)
