Lucien Gaudin

[edit]

Did not compete in men's team sabre. Wudarski (vol. 2, pp. 37-43) provides full results of every bout and Gaudin is not there. Sports-Reference does not show Gaudin. The IOC medal database does not show a medal for him in this event. DatabaseOlympics does not show him. De Wael does not have him in this event. The Encyclopedia Britannica discusses his medals, but doesn't mention this event. An article here discusses the 1920 team foil, notes Gaudin's injury and subsequent withdrawal from the individual events, and makes no mention of the team sabre (which occurred after the team foil). -- Jonel (Speak to me) 00:24, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
