Communication

[edit]

i want to know some definitions about figure of merit in communication --- There are some issues with the name figure of merit, a more conventional term would be simply metric. Perhaps this article should refer to the definition of metric instead. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.44.165.84 (talk) 07:55, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

See Metric. Jim.henderson (talk) 02:37, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Time Figure of Merit

[edit]

Time Fgure of Merit is likely the most common one that people will encounter since it is a GPS artifact. TFOM probably should be added to Wikipedia and then this page getting updated. SoftwareThing (talk) 14:57, 25 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A lovely FoM

[edit]

While I doubt that the article needs it, i take note of just having commented (to its owner) about the high figure of merit possessed by a cashmere (Kashmir) blanket they received in the context of executive-jet aircraft.
