UPE and advert tag removal
[edit]Hi Pigsonthewing, there's clearly a paid edit request here on the talk page from a user that hasn't properly disclosed their editing, per the WMF terms of use. Someone who, with some quick Google searching, is revealed as a member of their marketing department. As such, I'm not sure why you removed the undisclosed paid tag from the article saying "no issues indicated on talk page". That, by itself, warrants the tag. Also not sure how a long list of unsourced awards/achievements doesn't qualify for an advert tag, but I went ahead and removed that content. Would you care to comment on either of these topics? Thank you for your time. Waggie (talk) 21:57, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
- If you need to do a Google search, it's not "clear...here", is it? As for {{Advert}}, the first paragraph of its documentation says:
"Add this to articles that need help from other editors because in whole or part they are advertisements masquerading as articles. For example, they may tell users to buy the company's product, provide price lists, give links to online sellers, or use unencyclopedic or meaningless buzzwords. "
