Removed companies[edit]

I removed {MySQL} and {Dopplr} from this article, because they are only partly Finnish, and neither of them has had their HQ in Finland. If you disagree with this decision, then you are welcome to add them back. 88.115.93.18 (talk) 21:07, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Linux & Angry Birds?[edit]

As far as I'm aware, Angry Birds was developed by an established company, Rovio, so it wasn't part of any startup scheme. The early Linux was developed by Linus Torvalds personally and he didn't start a company or receive any funding for his (totally non-commercial) work. The later Linux has been developed by various individuals, organizations and established companies especially in the United States, involving no startup schemes. These examples have nothing to do with the so-called startup companies that are established with funding from "angel investors" or high-risk bank loans and usually started to produce a single specific product (at first). 94.101.2.145 (talk) 00:15, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
