No longer used as a church[edit]

The following comment from Hankley3 is copied from User Talk:Hankley3:

"Problem: The building is not the First Baptist Church. It is now the Bowers Community Center. The sale of the building specified that it should not be referred to as the First Baptist Church.

The bell tower was removed and the building renamed. The CG site http://councilgrove.com/24-historic-sites-of-council-g/ correctly refers to the building as "the former First Baptist Church", now the Bowers Community Center. The Wiki page is translated into a Facebook page and people are directed to the wrong place.

Can the name be changed to "former First Baptist Church" (and perhaps, now the Bowers Community Center)? Or can we make a new page for Bowers and change the Church page Info to "church"? Thanks for help." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hankley3 (talkcontribs) 14:48, 11 November 2013‎

I hope that the editors of this page can work with Hankley3 to get this matter resolved in a productive way, despite his the user's failure to understand proper editing practices here earlier. DES (talk) 20:35, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • do you suppose this image is pre- or post- bell tower removal? [1] if it is pre- , would we be able to claim a FAIR use as the bell tower was part of the building when it gained its Historic status and it is no longer possible to get that view in any new photos? -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 01:07, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Given that the readable sign in front is for the community center I think it must be post-removal. DES (talk) 01:50, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
