FooBaSKILL is born 2016 in Switzerland and is widely played in french speaking Swiss schools. More and more PE teacher and coaches from abroad get interested in its pedagogical and tactical components. So Jörn Meyer (coach of the west German Basketball federation and PE teacher) the Swiss Federal Office of Sports (FooBaSKILL workshop in Tenero in June 2017), University of Quebec in Montreal (invitation to the congers in November 2017)
The goal of FooBaSKILL The Game is to promote the five coordination abilities in children (Orientation, reaction, differentiation, rythm and balance) through popular disciplines (soccer and basketball).
Requests from parents and coaches for the creation on a league have been already made. In November 2019 the first Swiss National FooBaSKILL Championship will be held in Yverdon (Switzerland). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Michal Lausanne (talk • contribs)
- @Michal Lausanne: This article needs to do more than explain what the sport is and how it is played, it needs to explain how it is notable. More text about the creation of the sport and how/why it is being implemented would help greatly. 331dot (talk) 23:14, 20 August 2017 (UTC)
