Redirect from "Public identifer"

[edit]

Just to record, since User:Abdull added a merge tag: I made Public identifier redirect here, and I'll remove the merge tag now. Klortho (talk) 15:16, 3 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"class DTD"

[edit]

From this article's current version:

-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN [...] Text identifiers can be broken down into the class, description and language. In this case the class is "DTD", indicating that the FPI represents a document type definition.

Does this imply that the value "DTD" is a reserved keyword in DTD world? If this is the case, what are examples of other valid values for class?

Thanks, --Abdull (talk) 00:55, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like this page lists the valid values as CAPACITY | CHARSET | DOCUMENT | DTD | ELEMENTS | ENTITIES | LPD | NONSGML | NOTATION | SHORTREF | SUBDOC | SYNTAX | TEXT. Klortho (talk) 14:08, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
