Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as lacking sufficient context to identify its subject, because... (It was JUST CREATED! You didn't give any time to allow me to flesh it out. Not cool. It's already on par with say Lake Mary station or Cypress Creek station) --- Aalox (Say HelloMy Work) 21:12, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It is your responsibility to provide content, not mine or others. You created the article for a reason, and thus have to add the content. At the time of the CSD nomination, there was only a source and a template. It is not my problem that you didn't add content. Callmemirela 🍁 {Talk} 22:11, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Recent image

[edit]

Does anyone have a recent image of this station? It looks like the most recent one was from a while back, and that file no longer exists. Daybeers (talk) 00:21, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The last image was a non-free rendering, and once the construction was complete last year, it was replaceable. A quick search on Flickr reveals nothing and there’s a CC video on YouTube that you could screencap but I don’t recommend it. I know Florida government resources are PD but found anything for the Ft Lauderdale station. I think the best bet is for a local Wikipedian to just go take a picture of it. Gotcha, that's what I thought. Well unfortunately I live in DC at the moment, so I am not remotely close. Daybeers (talk) 04:31, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I did end up grabbing a couple of screenshots from YouTube - I'm not a huge fan, but YMMV. Check out Commons:Category:Fort Lauderdale (Brightline). Ytoyoda (talk) 16:10, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Page moves

[edit]

@ShuffleParrot: Please do not move the page again without first taking it here to the talk page. The current name of this article and the other one you moved, West Palm Beach station (Brightline), comply with the official Wikipedia policy on naming conventions for railroad stations in the United States. If you would like to contest that, please make a new section on its talk page here. The Brightline station articles clearly have the word Brightline in parenthesis after the titles, which clearly disambiguates them from the Amtrak/Tri-Rail station articles at Fort Lauderdale station and West Palm Beach station. Thank you. –Daybeers (talk) 21:24, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
