Fremontia is also the name of the Journal of the California Native Plant Society I cannot seem to search for where it occurs in references due to the redirect for the genus name from Fremontia to Fremontodendron.

I would like to cite it as a reference in some articles I want to add to.

The existence of this redirect has nothing at all to do with your ability to cite a source in a completely different article. The one does not affect the other in the slightest. Jonathan de Boyne Pollard (talk) 14:10, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
