Merge proposal

The two should not be merged as currently requested. According to the articles, French Flanders and French Netherlands are not the same thing. French Flanders is only Nord with a small part of Pas de Calais whereas French Netherlands is all of Nord-Pas de Calais. Maybe merging the content with Nord-Pas de Calais would be better since the article deals only with the "French Netherlands" as a proposed new name for Nord-Pas de Calais. — AjaxSmack 04:35, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fine by me to merge to Nord-Pas de Calais rather than to French Flanders - but a separate article for a proposed new name is unsuitable. It would in any case have to be "French Low Countries" in English. --Paularblaster (talk) 09:24, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
