Talk:Furry Fandom
Websites and online communities
[edit]Conti reverted an edit we made adding E621 to the Websites and online communities section of this page, as I felt it merited inclusion as it's a major hub for the furry fandom, is broadly an art site and it is approximately as popular as FurAffinity, regarded as the "main" community of the fandom. Both sites regularly swap which is in second and which first place, but BOTH sites are usually in the top thousand sites in most first world countries.
We'd like the website to be included as it far outstrips SoFurry and Weasyl, in both traffic and amount of content. Arki J. Kirwin-Muller! (talk) 04:36, 29 July 2019 (UTC)

The definition of a furry is outdated, and needs to be updated. Not everyone who is interested in anthropomorphic animals is a furry. An Anti-Furry could like anthropomorphic, and obviously be against the furries. Suggested wording without citations: The furry fandom is a community of individuals who dress up or identify as animals, such as dogs or cats.
