Hello,
The description of the warhead in this article seemed really wrong to me (910kgs of warhead for a total weight of 1150kgs)
I just checked sources to confirm my intuition: the data in this article has been false since the first version of the page 12 years ago.
Main source is "OP 1664, Volume 2 - US Explosive Ordnance (1947)"
Summary of data :
- The GB-4 weighs 2536 pounds/1150kg (p.559)
- The GB-4 is built around the AN-M66 GP bomb (p.559)
- The AN-M66 bomb total weight is 2052 lbs/930kg (p.392)
- The AN-M66 contains an amatol warhead of 1063 lbs/482kg (p.392)

I'll wait a few days in case someone wants to bring more data or sources, and then I'll make the 2 required edits:
1) modify the sentence "the warhead was..."
2) change the warhead weight

I have extensively rewritten the article as the original article had no inline citations and a number of the statements were not consistent with published material (for example original article stated that the GB-4 was never used in combat but the sources given, which are of high quality, clearly state that it was used operationally.Stivushka (talk) 16:09, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
