[edit]- Wisden17, would you please explain why you reverted 85.92.225.49 's edits to Gay rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Wuzzy 00:55, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, I'm happy to explain. The term queer is, to qutoe, queer " considered ... to be offensive and derisive". So on that basis it is not the best terminology to use, especially on a page concerning Gay Rights. Secondly there was no reference material provided for the statement, nor was the statement of much real benefit (it needed more information, if it were true). I came to the opinion that the person had edited the article to make it sound derisory to Gay people, by its choice of terminology. If, however, the information in the article was correct, I apologise, but if it is added again then it really does need more info with it (although if it did not, that is of course no grounds for deletion). --Wisden17 01:03, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- I assume the edits were in good faith. So, I am reverting the article to the 00:35, March 12, 2006 version by 85.92.225.49, which preserves all his edits except the queer club prediction. Thank you for the explanation. Wuzzy 21:29, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
Activisim?
[edit]There is no reason to include sections on organisations that do not identify as LGBT organisations in such detail here. It reads as (self-)promotion of these organisations and does not provide additional information on the subject matter for the reader. It suffices to mention history of LGBT activism and to mention organisations active today. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mujanovic (talk • contribs) 00:40, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
