This article seems to be confusing two different taxa. I have contacted the author and expect it to be sorted out soon. --Stemonitis 20:29, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

Yes, it's my fault. I got two crabs mixed up. Fixing it now. Proto t c 13:14, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

I need to know some info about Halloween crabs. There isn't much online about them.

Googling for +"halloween crab" gives 688 results. Scientific name seems to be Gecarcinus quadratus, family Gecarcinidae. Googling for the scientific name yields 908 hits. Lupo 09:52, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

broken link / copying[edit]

the "aqualog" external link is broken. In addition, most of the text of this article is copied verbatim from the second external link and isn't even about the Halloween Crab, but rather the Halloween Hermit Crab with which it is "not to be confused." Jasongetsdown 01:02, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
