You will notice that I have tried to carefully document where I got almost every single bit of information, instead of just plagiarizing one source, as some people like to do. Sure, I won't get any undeserved plaudits for creating "fine free content," but that kind of thing is ultimately very hollow and not very worthwhile. Not that any of this matters. Some moron can always come along and undo this completely. James470 (talk) 02:12, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

  • Any uncited plagiarized articles on this site should be brought to an admin's attention, and you're right to be annoyed about them. Even if the material copied is out of copyright, it needs to be cited, and others, at least, need to balance it with other materials unless this is completely impossible... AFAIK he was a student of Lachner[edit]

but of Lachner's brother Theodor, not of Franz, according to Hughes (1919). Schissel | Sound the Note! 20:32, 31 May 2017 (UTC) (Ah, you do mention his studies with Theodor. Sorry, was tired and speedreading, my bad. Will have to check your references on the other, tho'... :D )
