Cartmans mother?
Sheila is one of the suspected women to have been cartmans birth mother.
I for one would find it highly likely that this maybe the case and the notion Cartman and Kyle being half brothers hilarious! A possible ending for the last South Park episode.

- That's not really helping the article.--SUITWhat? 42 02:27, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- Well Shelia was suspected. It would be interesting, since Cartman hates Jews so much, if he did turn out to have had a biological Jewish mother. As for pausibility, obesity is partly hereditary (though I think Cartman's eating habits is the other half, especially since at one point he did have a future self who was in shape and not morbidly obese), and the Broflovski does have an open marriage. I don't know why Shelia wouldn't have acknowledged Cartman though, considering how open their marriage is about sex, and about adoption. There is also the issue of Cartman and Kyle being in the same grade, either someone flunked or skipped a grade, or they'll have to be born at most 12 months apart (like, one was born in January, the other somewhere between September and December), which would be very bad for Shelia's body. 'Course, that might explain why she's overweight. My mother had medical problems when she had me, and she's been overweight ever since. Wilhelmina Will 00:49, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
Sheila/Shiela? Broflovski/Brovlovski?
There seems to be quite some confusion over the way Sheila Broflovski is spelled. I hope the following to URL's can end that: URL one URL two
I will now take it upon myself to make the necessary corrections. I always forget the signature: --oKtosiTe 20:58, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
==Villains in movie?== Given that Satan was treated as a tragic hero in the movie, and the real villain was Saddam,I think that Sheila should be added to the list of film villains that Saddam was, unfortunately, that list of film villains was removed and changed to "film characters",I think it should be split back to a seperate arcticle, since some characters are on that list that just should not be.
Irish Ancestry?
In the "Sheila section", it says "Her first name, and red hair, suggest Irish ancestry." This is speculation, and not fact and should not be included in the article. I know plenty of Jews with red hair. I'll give it a week to stay up and then I'll be forced to delete unless someone presents me with evidence to bake the statement up. Religion has nothing to do with your Bloodline!!!
What on earth are you talking about? Yes, there are many redheads who practice Judaism, but that doesn't mean they can't be Irish! What is it with people that they keep forgetting that Judaism is a religion and nothing more than a religion? I even have a friend who has Jewish ancestors, but she knows perfectly well that she doesn't have Jewish blood in her. She can't. The blood of a religion cannot be passed down, only the heritage of it can.

- Well, most Jewish people are the same race and back round, because they generally marry other jewish people from within their community, like a synagogue or Hebrew School. So it is possible for an Irish Jew, but 99% unlikely, also considering that Irish people are born catholic, and raised catholic, and the only thing other than catholicism would be atheism. C. Then there's always the possiblity that a Catholic from Ireland and a Jew from somewhere chose to marry, and that's how Sheila ended up with that ancestry. Or, it might not be Irish ancestry, it could always be Scottish. I know and know of a lot of women in Scotland who are named Sheila, and I don't doubt even a minority of the people in Scotland are Jewish. Wilhelmina Will 00:54, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
...considering that Irish people are born catholic, and raised catholic, and the only thing other than catholicism would be atheism.
What an ignorant statement. Try telling this guy that all Irish people are born and raised Catholic. Do you know anything about Ireland or it's different cultures? There's a huge protestant population in Ireland, and any notion that all the people follow one religion is incredibly ill-informed. Read a little more on the subject, my friend. 172.203.98.206 (talk) 18:41, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
The Image Could be Better.
This image has been used for a long time, and even when it first was put up, I felt that the article could and should have a better image than that. If possible, could we get a plain image of Gerald, as well as a plain image of Sheila? (By "Plain Images", I mean ones in which they are either standing alone on a white background or a blue background. If you still aren't sure what exactly I mean, have a look at some of the images in the "List of Students at South Park Elementary" article; notably Wendy, Tweek, Clyde, Craig and Jimmy's images. Error!
Just a mistake I spotted on the section of this article that mentions South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut. It says that Kenny wished for everything to go back the way it was...
"...even though it meant he (Kenny) would have to go to Hell."
WRONG!!!!! On the contrary, I have just watched The South Park Movie on DVD. Kenny did not go to hell after wishing for that. If you where paying attention, he went to heaven as soon as he wished for it.
It should actually read:
"...even though it meant he (Kenny) would still have to die."
Don't worry, I'll get it. Consider it fixed. 81.145.240.124 15:28, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- Actually I contest that. He didn't know he was gonna go to Heaven. When he made that wish, he had full knowledge of a possibility of going to Hell, but he didn't, he went to Heaven. so it should read...
"...even with the possibility of him (Kenny) going to Hell." C. Pineda 08:06, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
Isnt this supposed to be in Kenny's Talk page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.134.233.162 (talk) 19:27, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Cleanup
Regarding this edit; This whole article was sloppy and disjointed. I removed the "trivia" section, in the process also removing most of the speculation and POV. I also tried to condense the whole article and rearranged it so that the "list of episodes in which they are prominent" list is now incorporated appropriately throughout the new article, which I tried to format just like the article for Randy and Sharon Marsh. I'm sure the fact that they are named for Matt Stone's parents is true, but it still needs a citation from a decent source. I also added citation requests in the infobox for their ages. As usual, please post your thoughts (disagreements, suggestions, etc.) on this edit here. - SoSaysChappy (talk) 17:38, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Separate articles?
Out of curiosity, is there any particular reason Gerald and Sheila don't have their own articles? Same with Randy and Sharon Marsh. 174.236.1.177 (talk) 23:40, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
