Sooilaer[edit]

For future reference, the location of Sooilaer, where Maritz died: 28°56′26″S 29°34′40″E / 28.94056°S 29.57778°E / -28.94056; 29.57778. Google has some street views which show the old wagon drift beside the bridge. Maritz was reburied at another location when this area became heavily populated.
