[edit]

The result of the move request was: pages moved as requested. The first move was completed about a month ago, and I did the second one just now. - GTBacchus(talk) 18:36, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Glenville SchoolGlenville School (Greenwich, Connecticut) — Make way for new disambiguation page covering two equally notable NRHP-listed places of same name, to be put at "Glenville School". There are now articles for both of them. (Thanks, Polaron for noticing i had created two articles for the CT one before and redirecting from new one to older one. However i can't now make the move over redirect now needed to allow for this disambiguation page; it requires an administrator's assistance.) This should be entirely non-controversial but i am posting a regular move request to allow for any possible other views.|Relisting billinghurst sDrewth 17:19, 21 July 2010 (UTC) |Relisted. billinghurst sDrewth 16:56, 13 July 2010 (UTC)| doncram (talk) 17:09, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No consensus exists, and we would generally not have a disambiguation page for two entries, the guidance is for hatnotes. Without a clear proposal it is probable that this will lapse as no consensus. Relisting. billinghurst sDrewth 17:19, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Billinghurst is incorrect in stating that "we would generally not have a disambiguation page for two entries, the guidance is for hatnotes." The problem here is that there is not really a primary topic. The guidelines at Wikipedia:Disambiguation state that if there are two topics for a term but neither is considered the primary topic, then a disambiguation page is used. • Support move as proposed following normal disambiguation naming in this area. Since there is no identifiable primary topic, let the dab page exist at the main name space. There are also other schools with this name that have even less notability. Vegaswikian (talk) 22:57, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
