Why the gratuitous reference to Paul McCartney? It doesn't seem relevant.D.C.Rigate (talk) 15:29, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Certification for Goldfinger

[edit]

A search of the RIAA's online database turns up nothing for Goldfinger (whether as a single or as an album) or Shirley Bassey. I also looked under John Barry.

A figure of 1,000,000 in US sales for Goldfinger (as a single) has been quoted in other articles about Shirley Bassey, using Guinness Records as a source. That may be enough--but if it really sold that many copies in America, one has to wonder why there is no RIAA Gold or Platinum certification.--Nyctc7 (talk) 06:06, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is not even clear now whether this 1,000,000 figure refers to the single or the soundtrack, which is why a specific reference would be nice.--Nyctc7 (talk) 17:39, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this at ... (Shirley Basset song) when just ...(song) redirects here. Should that be swapped ? -- Beardo (talk) 05:46, 7 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
