Why is this page such a target for vandals? -- Zoe

That picture of "Goldie with 3D", isn't 3D. He's white, for a start. -- User:Magic Window

Ah, well I just copied the caption from the video. I guess they were wrong, feel free to update the caption if you know who it is.  ALKIVAR 22:37, 18 Feb 2005 (UTC)

the tv section is missing some shows like when he conducted an orchestra, and when he composed an orchestral piece. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.155.231.29 (talk) 15:33, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Beating up a French DJ

you might want to stop removing that as vandalism - it's true. who cares ? it happens everyday everywhere and redeyes ain't dead and none of you were at the rave when it happens, and none of the people on dogs on acid aswell

Out of those three links, one (the first) refers to a beating at all. It's all third person unverified content and has no place here. If you can find an authoritative source (a statement by Goldie or this french DJ, police report, something) come back and tell us. -- BillWeiss | Talk 16:15, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
can you read? the third IS a statement from goldie.
First, sign your comments.
Second, the only thing I see that even mentions them together is this:

Ask Redeyes - who was the person who came up to him and shook his hand at swerev last night - to break the ice on this situation

That doesn't say anything about punching him. Care to read to me?
Remember, this is a bio page of someone who is living. Wikipedia has to be extra careful to not print incorrect material about him, possibly at the cost of leaving out current events that are hard to verify. The text at the top of this page says "Negative material that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately, especially if potentially libelous." -- BillWeiss | Talk 03:38, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

i added some albums and things and changed the "early" part before ruffige kru as he still uses that alias.

    • Good luck on finding concrete info on the Goldie/Redeyes situation. The only mention of big info was on DOA, and it was quashed in due time. Mention has been made by both parties I believe, but nothing concrete has come out of it. --Khal 20:19, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

Living in Bovingdon, Hertfordshire

Hi, I changed the info slightly, regarding Goldie living in Bovingdon from 2000. I lived in Felden (next to Bovingdon), until 1997, and he definitely lived there at that time. I spoke to him on a number of occasions in 1996/7 in the area, and outside his house. I could put in where he lives exactly, but I dont think that would be cool! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.38.116.9 (talk) 14:48, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Upgraded to C-Class (WP: Big Brother)

I have upgraded this article to C-Class as it meets the criteria, the article has a good amount of information but not enough yet for B-Class. More reliable sources would be good to improve the article. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 23:15, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Honorary doctorate

I was at Brunel University today where Goldie received an Honorary Doctorate of Social Sciences

Here;'s a link n Brunel Site for it: http://brunel.ac.uk/news/events/graduation/hongrads

I can also get photo graphic evidence from the book of the ceremony.

I am also just getting a coupl of links together to support this —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.196.208.121 (talk) 20:42, 20 July 2010 (UTC) http://www.rexfeatures.com/live/2010/07/20/clifford_price,_aka_goldie,_receiving_honorary_doctorate,_london90.196.208.121 (talk) 20:59, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the links, I guess this is sufficient to mention it, I re-added it with citation. An independent news report would be better (there wasn't anything on Google News when I checked), and also a source stating the exact nature of the degree is still needed. Regards, HaeB (talk) 23:32, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

Heres another short article confirming the degree awarded from Brunel: http://www.brunel.ac.uk/news/cdata/goldie+degre 90.196.208.121 (talk) 14:44, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, used that reference to specify that it is a doctorate. Regards, HaeB (talk) 20:48, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

How many children?

Article says 4 and 5. Both are referenced - trusted sources - Guardian articles from 2003 (5) and 2009 (4). In between those years did he lose or disown a child? http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2009/jul/19/goldie-the-interview/ http://www.guardian.co.uk/theguardian/2003/sep/06/features.jobsmoney4

Can anyone shed any light on the real number? — Preceding unsigned comment added by HallucigeniaUK (talkcontribs) 00:17, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

Personal Life

This section is in dire need of cleaning up. It is not in chronological order, and quotes "as of" at several different time periods.

e.g. "As of 2003, he has five children" then "As of 2006, he lives in a country house in Bovingdon, Hertfordshire, which he bought in 1998." and " As of 2010, he is married to Mika Wassenaar, a Canadian.[26]"

and lack of chronology here" "In the 1990s, Price had a relationship with drum and bass artist Kemistry, who died in a car accident in 1999.[5] He was romantically involved with singer Björk for several years until their break-up in September 1996" Marchino61 (talk) 13:37, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

Ajax Project

"In 1992, Price made his first album appearance, by contributing a short vocal piece to the track "Rufige" by Icelandic group, Ajax Project.[5] Since then the track has been repeatedly misattributed to Price himself, perhaps because of his subsequent use of "Rufige" as a moniker for his own ambitions."

It´s repeatedly misattributed to him because he claims he did it.

Here - "In '92 I produced my first track as Ajax Project while I was doing some design and A&R work for 4Heros's Reinforced label."

And here - "My first ever record was the Ajax Project.."
