MPs 2012 and 2016[edit]

Just notifying two things that are misrepresented in this page:

the election results of 2012 and 2016 (6 seats). In both editions only leader Gachechiladze got elected through the proportional candidate-list of Georgian Dream. After inauguration in 2016 he formed a (separate) parliamentary faction GD-Greens with five other GD MPs (who had no ties to the Greens). The parliament rules require a minimum faction size of 6 in order to access certain privileges. The GD-Greens was supportive of the government. See for example this article which explains that. In the 2012-2016 parliament he was part of the GD faction but stepped out of that in Feb. 2014. In both cases the 6 seats in the result table here is misleading and even wrong.
also, the way the number of votes are presented in this table is misleading. It looks like the Greens were the winner of the elections in 1995, 2012 and 2016. There is no way one can determine how many votes the party actually got in those years (including 1990 and 2008 as well). Their candidates were mixed with the list of another party / bloc and the votes counted for that party/bloc. The Green Party was not even the leading party in these blocs, but just a minor partner: in 1995 supplying 3 candidates (2 MPs) and in 2008, 2012 and 2016 just one candidate - mr Gachechiladze. In 2012 for example the Greens were not officially part of the 6-party bloc of GD that entered the elections. It was just Gachechiladze as sole Greens delegate listed among the GD-party candidates on the GD list #41.
