Delete "leaders" templates

Template:Group of 15 Leaders has two companions -- Template:G-15 nations and Template:G-15 leaders. Their formats are similar, but I think we need only one of them. The nations template will be added to each of the G-15 summit articles; however, I believe the neither of the leaders templates are helpful.

Context

The edit history for Group of 15 here shows that WikiReformist (talk · contribs) posted Template:Group of 15 Leaders. The template's history shows that WikiReformist created it.

WikReformist has been banned, but I know nothing of those circumstances.

Proposed deletions
A. Template:G-15 leaders
B. Template:Group of 15 Leaders

This is a poor subject for a navbox because leaders change irregularly over the course of time. Updates are better handled in the table which part of this article.

For me, the crowded nature of Template:Group of 15 Leaders made it a little difficult to scan quickly. Also, v•d•e at the left of the title bar is non-functioning.

As an exercise, I resolved to fix the readability problem; and then to seek consensus for deleting both the original and the improved templates. Is there any objection to this deletion plan? --Tenmei (talk) 01:21, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

There are plausible reasons for modifying the navbox templates at the bottom of the page at Group of 15 (G-15). An opportunity for discussion needs to be part of any process which precedes change. Three arguable improvements are:

A. Expanding the current navbox by encompassing links to articles about the serial G-15 summits?

B. Deleting the current leaders navbox?

This is a poor subject for a navbox because leaders change irregularly over time. The functional utility of this navbox is not greater or better than one which only shows member nations.

C.Standardize/harmonize to "G-15" without hyphen?

Only G-15 must have a hyphen, consistent with the group's official web site?

D. Perhaps decision-making may be helped by comparing an array of similar groups and templates?

What is the best next step for this article? for similar articles? --Tenmei (talk) 01:16, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

The templates were deleted; and the discussion threads were archived:
This will be useful if further discussion is necessary. --Tenmei (talk) 20:51, 12 June 2010 (UTC)

Peruvian membership

Just checked the G-15 website and it does NOT list Peru as a member state. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.196.42.60 (talk) 18:24, 20 February 2011 (UTC)

Peru isn't a member state anymore, I changed what I could but I can't change the info-bar on the top-right, or at least I cant find the edit button. If somebody with this ability could come along and fix this, that would be great. Otherwise, tell me how and I can do it myself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.83.185.60 (talk) 10:26, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
