Expansion required
Haitian art is rich and appreciated throughout the world. Not only is it important culturally, but even supports a small industry of Haitian art dealers, collectors, and of course artists themselves throughout the world.
Rather than deleting this entry, it needs to be expanded by any who can help contribute. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcelebiler (talk • contribs) 02:04, June 25, 2007
- No one has expressed a desire to delete the page, so I've removed the {{hangon}} tag you placed on it. Leebo T/C 02:08, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
I'd like this page to be deleted, absolutely inappropriate and offensive.
RENAME: Art in Haiti?
For searching purposes, I believe "Art in Haiti" is more appropriate. Is anyone else in agreement with this article name change? Twillisjr (talk) 22:44, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
- I disagree. Haitian Art is a unique and distinctive art that is not only practiced in Haiti. Art in Haiti is limited by name solely to the region of Haiti. What about Miami Haitian-Americans etc.? For search purposes, Haitian art is renowned around the world; typing "art in Haiti," automatically brings up Haitian art with it without much complication. Plan to add
I think I can make a significant contribution on the different “schools” of painting and their influences in addition to offering more sources of information. V.a.PJHC (talk) 02:42, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
- Great thank you, please be sure to use reliable sources (see WP:RS) for more info about this. Jooojay (talk) 16:56, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
