It's great to see an article about the line but I'm not at all sure where this came from...
"More than 40 years after the withdrawal of passneger (sic) trains, goods trains continue to pass through the site."
But I thought it best to discuss before editing it out. Over to Alex? Dave?
Oh, and by the way, nothing has been down, through Hammerwich Place at least, for 4 years.

The line between Lichfield and Hammerwich is totally disused - grass growing everywhere, no longer maintained etc, as of April 2011!
